SHELL OU CALL - PARA ABRIR UM ARQ.EXE DENTRO DO VB

Como faço para abrir um arquivo executavel, SÓ“ QUE

quando eu uso o shell ex:

double = shel("c:    este.exe")
msgbox "abriu"
.
.

ele abre o teste.exe mas em seguida executa a linha abaixo...

tem como quando executar o shell (ou outo), só ir para próxima linha após o encerramento do teste.exe
